Geoff Heron - Founder of Decor.
In 1960, having turned down a position with a well-known company as a soft furnishing workroom department manager, the scene was set for Geoff to start up his own company, employing friends and family, in Church Street, Crowthorne.
The business has flourished since then, working with a variety of clients including John Fowler (Colefax and Fowler), the National Trust, hotel groups, schools, government departments and the owners of exclusive London residences, to name but a few.
With Geoff now in retirement, sons Mark and Richard are the backbone of the business, which moved into the High Street in 2004. Work is now concentrated on our large and loyal personal clientele, using all the modern techniques now available, and with our busy workroom aiming to provide high-quality work at affordable prices.

We completely refurbished this boardroom, having the table, chairs, large side cabinet and fire surround made to order; with curtains, carpet and wallcovering also supplied and fitted.

This project was the refurbishment of a large gym/assembly hall for a well-known girls' school in Gloucester, making window curtains together with large stage curtains.
Our shop has recently had a complete refit, completed to a high standard by Bennett Bros of Crowthorne, which was designed to cope with the very large number of pattern books for curtains, upholstery and wallpapers, not forgetting a unique collection of giftware, which we hold.
